Mrigaank's - Ear Piercing Ceremony

Next Day: 11th December, 2006.

A very religious day with OM HUM, Pooja's and more from morning till the afternoon. Mr. Mrigaank was present till the Pooja's were over and was fast a sleep then.


His ears was pierced at around 4.00pm. I reached home around 3.50pm after a meeting. The best part was everyone in the family was present. Most amazing thing was that little Mrigaank didn't feel the pain when the golden ring was peirced in his ear.

I do remember the bachelors party a night before. We were awake till morning 3.00 am (that's regular for me). It was really great to see lot's of people who turned to my friends wedding. More than 1500.

Mrigaank Tonsure at Tirupathi

Mrigaank was on "Mission Tirupathi" - For tonsure

Mrigaank at Kalyan Railway Station.

We boarded from Kalyan on Mumbai - Chennai Express on 2nd December, 2006.

It was first time Mahadevan (nick name: maha - my brother) was visiting Tirupathi after 32 years. Mrigaank and Maha had tonsure on 4th December night. It was really tough to control Mrigaank during the tonsure. But we made it well.

It is auspicious to give away (offer) your hair to the Lord Tirupathi Balaji.

We reached Tirupathi on 3rd December, 2006.

Arjun's First Birthday

The day was 25th November, 2006. Another birthday party but this time it was of my best friend (ex-neighbour + my super senior + my chess opponent) Nelliperambil Santosh's 2nd son ARJUN...

We lived more than 15 years at same place and I share most of the best time of our childhood. I still remember the day when I was bleeding from my forehead because I banged my self with Santosh's strong canine tooth...

We all were missing Shailesh (Santosh's younger Brother) who is out for work on the cruise.

Santosh is sitting with Aryan (Santosh's elder son) and Mrigaank on his lap and ARJUN in his mother's arms.
